Kelley is a Chicago-based composer/performer moving between acoustic, electro-acoustic, and performance art works. In any medium, her work explores perception and interaction. Kelley has performed and has had her music heard at concert halls and exhibition such as Experimental Sound Studios (Chicago), The Art Institute of Chicago, and Constellation (Chicago).

She is co-artistic director/performer of Noisebias, a contemporary ensemble as well as co-founder of Plucky Plunkers, an improvisational duo focused on commissioning works for the toy piano and multimedia collaborations. She is co-artistic director and editor at Cacophony, a magazine dedicated to the advocation of contemporary music making.​
