 In this work, the title refers to the musical material and movements of the performers: each sound was constructed from three individual horizontal or vertical movements across each instrument and organized into an underlying structure built from three continuously morphing repetitive cycles.

​

These cycles were designed as a framework that allowed for gestural ideas to overlap or collide while building a subliminal sense of expectation within a quiet and sparse discourse.
