This piece is a collage of 3 different pieces of mine that are sentimental to me and that I consider important in my development as a composer. But, most importantly, this work ends with a large section in which a max MSP patch reacts and responds to the cellist's choices and playing. This means, that each time this piece is performed, the ending is entirely unique and authored by the ensemble itself. Therefor creating a 4th work for this collage and, in the end, giving the ensemble their own way to contribute and expand upon the work.
